Haha, I love this shot, even after our little discussion about backgrounds. This is a wonderful composition--the energy of the curves and textures of the plant play against the borders of the image. The way you framed (or cropped?) the image is perfect.
heh - I also really love this shot - I did crop out some of the far edge of the lake off the top. I was having a lot of fun that day playing with overexposure - it was such a grey, colorless day, but actually fairly good for BW and overexposed, weirdly processed shots.
This is my first blog attempt. It hasn't been kept up over the last year, for some reason being pregnant really ate into my creativity, and I picked up the camera very rarely. I am thinking about starting it up again, but am not sure what direction to take it in.
