These are blueberries

Where: NY Botanical Gardens
When: February 2011

We got to walk around the NY Botanical Gardens greenhouse with a friend of ours who also happens to work there, and is an expert on blueberries. An astonishing number of the plants in the conservatory are actually species of blueberries. This variety is the result of a cutting taken from a plant in its native habitat - as far as they know, that plant, and this clone of that plant, are the only two in existence. They never found another plant in the area they found the first one in. Weird.

About This Blog

This is my first blog attempt. It hasn't been kept up over the last year, for some reason being pregnant really ate into my creativity, and I picked up the camera very rarely. I am thinking about starting it up again, but am not sure what direction to take it in.
