It's always startling when a city-scape turns out to be beautiful.

Hah - it startles me every time I look out my window, I have to admit. I'm constantly surprised by how much I love living in this city. You'd think I'd take more pictures of it, instead of my standard focus on the rare instances of plant and animal life living here that I tend to gravitate towards.
