Have Mercy (25/365)

Have Mercy (25/365)
Where: Highline Park, Chelsea, NYC
When: Today

Title from Traci Chapman's "Say Hallelujah". Just 'cause I happen to be listening to it now, and that's my favorite verse.

"Say Hallelujah
Throw up your hands
The bucket is kicked
The body is gone

Have mercy
It's a wonderful life
Eternal rest for the weary
Mourners party tonight"

Oh my goodness, Lyn, such a flood of beautiful, thoughtful words, thank you so much! Yes, indeed, change and transformation is always cause for celebration, even if it doesn't always feel that way in the moment.

It's a wonderful, silly, short little life, and the little connections we make with the all the other beings whipping through it - plant, caterpillar, beetle, human - are really all there is.

About This Blog

This is my first blog attempt. It hasn't been kept up over the last year, for some reason being pregnant really ate into my creativity, and I picked up the camera very rarely. I am thinking about starting it up again, but am not sure what direction to take it in.
