Thank you! My grandmother is a painter, of similar subjects - plants, flowers, etc., details in nature more generally - and I realized half way through the process of this blog that I think I've been subconsciously heavily influenced by her - when I'm composing or cropping a photo, it doesn't "feel" right until it resembles the balance and composition of a lot of her work.

This is my first blog attempt. It hasn't been kept up over the last year, for some reason being pregnant really ate into my creativity, and I picked up the camera very rarely. I am thinking about starting it up again, but am not sure what direction to take it in.
