Absolutely gorgeous gardens.

Kew is pretty fantastic, although I must say I'm always surprised by how little 'show' there is. It strikes me as more of a zoo for plants, than as a carefully constructed and landscaped garden (as, for example, Queen Mary's gardens in Regents Park are). My mom (who is a landscape designer) tells me this is also because the gardens are from different historical periods.

From my mom: "Kew garden is earlier, more Classical period which is designed in a more pastoral layout, whereas Regents is pure Victorian."

About This Blog

This is my first blog attempt. It hasn't been kept up over the last year, for some reason being pregnant really ate into my creativity, and I picked up the camera very rarely. I am thinking about starting it up again, but am not sure what direction to take it in.
