Variations on a Theme: Trinity

Variations on a Theme: Trinity
Where: Queen Mary's Gardens, Regents Park, London UK
When: April 18, 2009
What I like: The colors, the composition, the shapes of the leaves, and the movement
What I Don't Like: A little too much movement - the flowers in focus aren't as sharp as I'd like.

The second installation of the theme will go up tomorrow. Early morning walk along the water with Piper today, everything was soft and a little hazy, and I got some shots I'm excited about. Not quite the Heath, but I'll take it.

Gwen. One of the prettiest photos I've ever seen. It's very painterly. Love the use of negative space. You're eye just flows around the image.

Thank you so much! I almost tossed it, glad I took a second to look harder. The painting-esque quality is what saved it from the bin, and now it and it's variation might be among my favorites. That happens to me all the time, which makes me a little shy about using the "delete" button on the first run through a batch.

About This Blog

This is my first blog attempt. It hasn't been kept up over the last year, for some reason being pregnant really ate into my creativity, and I picked up the camera very rarely. I am thinking about starting it up again, but am not sure what direction to take it in.
