NYBG Orchid Show

This blog has gone a little defunct over the last year, and I'm not entirely sure if it's going to stay that way or not. I might create a new one - among other things, changes google implemented require me to log in to a different account in order to create new posts, which I find annoying, so I may start a new one with my actual email so I don't have to do that.

Anyway, in the meantime, we went to the New York Botanical Garden Orchid Show over the weekend, and I felt that tingly creative urge again, after a year of not feeling it at all. It turns out that my body can only handle one type of creative urge at a time, and found pregnancy all consuming. And the last couple of months, the camera has been used solely for the purpose of recording the baby! So pointing it at non-child-shaped things was new and exciting.

So anyway, the first of many from the weekend:
